Break the rules: mix metals!
Rules, rules, rules: you'll have heard them before. Don't wear black with navy, don't wear a skirt above the knee if you're over 40, don't flash leg and cleavage at the same time and definitely, whatever you do, don't mix gold and silver jewellery! Here at LVBT, however, we know that trends are constantly evolving and fashion rules are made to be broken. In fact, for today's fashion-conscious individual woman, there simply are no rules. That's why we're so excited about the latest craze for mixing metals in jewellery: what better way to express yourself and freshen up your look? Be it silver, gold, rose gold, white gold or platinum, if you've got it, you can wear it! Here, we show you how.
Mixing metal bracelets
Layering a mix of different metal bracelets will instantly showcase your unique style and you can do it through the daytime or at night. Through the day, our Leone bracelets are perfect. Available in a range of metals and designs, they can be layered over a chunky knit or sweater to add a flash of individuality. For a sophisticated evening look, try stacking our delicate MYA BAY silver happiness bracelet, which comes in silver, gold and rose gold, together with something uniquely you, like our Monte Jewellery rose gold crystal peace bracelet. This look would go with any evening outfit and will mark you out as a trendsetter as soon as you step into the bar!

Luscious necklaces
Although mixing any metals looks fabulous, you do still need to put a bit of thought into the style of your pieces. This is especially true of necklaces: you don't want too many clashes of style and your necklaces need to look like they belong together around your neck or you risk your look appearing haphazard. Try wearing a simple top and let your jewellery do the talking. Mix and match the lengths of your necklaces and pick up a colour from each piece. For instance, try pairing the Miss Lesley Jenn gold necklace with the Miss Lesley Ntombi silver necklace and the Monte Jewellery rose gold smiley face necklace.

Ring stacking
Stacking rings is an instant way to add a fun edge to your outfit. As well as mixing metals in a traditional stack, why not play around with where you wear your rings? Put them at different sections of your fingers, with some at the base and others at the knuckles. Experiment with different shapes: there really are no rules. We love the MYA BAY rose gold yesterday is history - tomorrow is mystery - today is a gift ring paired with the Leone silver play ring.

So what are you waiting for? Create something unique. Express yourself by mixing metals!
