Have you got style?

Dating from the thirteenth century the word style has become something of a modern staple, but what does it actually mean? A particular way of doing something or a distinctive appearance, there are many official definitions but regardless of what the dictionary says, we believe style is something totally unique to you.
Sub-consciously we’re defined by mainstream media, friends, family and the environment around us. And more often than not, people are judged by their style – something we believe is fundamentally wrong. Style is something that defines a person, it’s an individual characteristic that can be anything you want it to be.
At LVBT our vast range of jewellery and accessories aims to assist you in making your style exactly what you want it to be - bold and daring or subtle and simple; we have something for everyone.
We understand that putting outfits together with accessories isn’t everyone’s thing, it’s not something that comes naturally to everyone and it’s simply not something that some people feel comfortable doing. We know that every now and again you might need a helping hand, someone to tell you what goes with what!
We have come up with a few simple outfits that aim to inspire you with some hints and tips we have learnt along the way. We don’t profess to know it all - in fact far from it - we want to give you a little guidance and help you to be inspired so that you can create something that is uniquely you. Allowing you to be your own kind of beautiful, after all, that is what we stand for.
We have taken a variety of everyday looks mixed with some of the latest trends. We know that everyone is into the latest fashion so it’s nice to bring outfits back-to-basics, there is nothing wrong a with a classic jeans and top combo.
Reviving a summer dress
A dress purchased at the end of last season on a little bit of a whim and it has only been worn once! It has been brought back to life with three keys accessories which all add a texture and a splash of contracting colour to the overall look:
- Necklace – LVBT Fern Gold Coin Necklace
- Bracelet – Ashiana Gold Plated Connie
- Bag – Posh Aleiah White Posh Bag
- Burnt orange cold shoulder dress – Primark
Wearing something from your youth
This dress was added, removed, re-added and removed from the basket before finally being purchased and it’s been a great buy. It’s really easy to wear as a casual and low key outfit, sometimes these are the best types of outfits that you can just throw on.

- Ring – Hagar Satat Cocktail Ring
- Bag – LVBT Multi-coloured Cork Bag
- Bracelets – Leone Fine Silver Play Pause
- Bracelets – MYA BAY Silver Leaf Bracelet and MYA BAY Silver Beautiful Bracelet
- Denim dungaree dress - ASOS
- Grey t-shirt - Mango
Keeping up with this seasons trends
Every season there is a piece of clothing that really takes off, this summer there was some stiff competition between bardot tops/dressed and cullotes and we are LOVING them both! This outfit is one of the more on trend combinations, whilst being something that is also quite easy to wear. The black body suit lets the cullotes do the talking.

- Necklace – LVBT Olivia Statement Necklace
- Bag – Posh Black Kim Bag
- Bracelet – LVBT Jocelyn Black Bracelet
- Black bodysuit – New Look
- Cream culottes – New Look
Keeping it simples with jeans and a top
Sometimes less is more and white jeans are something that are really easy to mix and match. It’s a chance to add a bright colour into the mix, in this case cobalt blue (but a bright yellow or pastel purple would also look great). The silver detailing on the top helped guide the accessories added to the outfit:

- Necklace – Miss Lesley Amanda Silver Necklace
- Bracelet – LVBT Avery Bracelet
- Ring – Leone Silver Pineapple Ring
- Bag – Posh Tiffany Tribal Pouch
- Tag – LVBT White Karl Tag
- White jeans – Topshop
- Blue top with silver zip detail – New Look
We are incredibly lucky to have a very diverse team within LVBT when it comes to styling. From bold and adventurous looks to playing it safe with a more conservative approach. The rule is, there are no rules. We are all individual in our own right and should be proud of this.
Our greatest bit of advice is go with what feels right to you and always remember to be your own kind of beautiful.
